Terms of Service

What CSTrade is

CSTrade is a website for trading the price of Counter-Strike 2 skins. It shows two desks: perpetual futures and options. Everything is priced against publicly published market data and settles in cash. You never receive a skin, and no item ever moves into or out of a Steam account.

Nothing is live yet

No contract has been deployed. Every position you open on this site is a paper trade: it fills instantly at the displayed price, it is saved only in your own browser, and no money changes hands in either direction. You cannot deposit, you cannot withdraw, and you cannot lose or win anything real here today. If that changes, these terms will change with it and the date at the top will move.

No advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. The prices, volatility figures, option prices and greeks are calculations over public data, published for information. They are not a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and no one at CSTrade knows your circumstances.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available, that the data behind it will be accurate or current, or that the calculations are fit for any particular purpose. The data comes from third parties and can be wrong, delayed or missing, and the site says on screen where each number came from and when it was last refreshed. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from anything you did because of a number you saw on it.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or scrape the site, and do not use it where doing so would breach the law that applies to you. Trading derivatives is restricted or prohibited in many places, and it is your responsibility to know whether that includes you. We may block access or withdraw the site at any time.

Your wallet

Connecting a Solana wallet is optional. Today it reads your address and your USDC and SOL balances from the cluster you have selected, and nothing else. CSTrade never asks for a private key, a seed phrase or a password, and will never do so. If a page claiming to be CSTrade asks you for any of those, it is not us.

Changes

These terms can change. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, that is your acceptance of it.

Privacy Policy

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. We do not collect your name, your email or anything else about you, because there is nowhere to enter it and nothing that asks.

What is stored, and where

Everything CSTrade saves is saved in your own browser, in local storage, under these names:

  • cstrade.<network>.perp.positions, .perp.orders and .perp.closed — your paper perp positions, resting orders and closed trades, kept separately for testnet and mainnet
  • cstrade.<network>.option.positions — your paper option positions, also per network
  • cstrade.network — which network you last selected
  • cstrade.addr — your wallet address, only if you chose to connect one
  • cstrade.wallet — which wallet you picked, so you are not asked again

None of it is ever sent to us. It stays on the device you used, and clearing your browser data deletes it. There is no server-side copy, so there is nothing for us to hand over, sell or lose.

What your browser contacts

  • This site's own server, for the pages, the styles and the current prices. Prices are fetched by our server from Skinport, so your browser never contacts Skinport directly.
  • Steam's image CDN (community.akamai.steamstatic.com), which serves the skin artwork. Loading an image tells that server your IP address and which image you asked for, the same as any site that shows a picture hosted elsewhere.
  • Your wallet extension, but only if you click connect, and only to read your address.
  • A Solana RPC node, once connected, to read your USDC and SOL balances. Nothing is signed and nothing is sent.

Fonts are served from this site, not from a font network. The price history is a static file on this site, not a live call to anyone.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for a limited period so the service can run and abuse can be handled. We do not use them to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to request, correct or delete on our side. The data in your browser is under your control and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Risk

Leveraged derivatives can lose you more, and faster, than the thing they are based on. A position at ten times leverage is wiped out by a ten percent move against you. Options expire worthless far more often than people expect. Skins are a thin market: a single unusual copy can move a published average by a large amount, and the price you see is what the market reports, not a guarantee that you could buy or sell there.

None of that is theoretical once real money is involved. Do not put in more than you are willing to lose entirely.

Trademarks and data

Counter-Strike, CS2, the skins and their artwork are the property of Valve Corporation. CSTrade is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve.

Price and listing data comes from Skinport, and the daily sale history comes from CSFloat. CSTrade is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either of them. Both are credited on screen wherever their data appears.

Charts are drawn with TradingView's Lightweight Charts, used under the Apache 2.0 licence.
